An evaluator lacking objectivity may lead to findings that are misinterpreted due to personal biases or preconceived notions influencing their analysis and conclusions. When objectivity is compromised, the integrity of the evaluation process is undermined, resulting in data interpretations that may not accurately reflect the true outcomes of the evaluation. This can distort results, mislead stakeholders, and ultimately affect decision-making processes based on those findings. Misinterpretation of findings can also harm the credibility of the evaluator and the evaluation itself, potentially leading to negative repercussions for the projects or programs being assessed.

In contrast, options suggesting increased reliability and trust, more innovative methods, or better stakeholder engagement do not align with the consequences of a lack of objectivity in evaluation, as any of these would logically require a commitment to impartiality and ethical standards in data handling and interpretation.
